Uses: For the reduction of fever (including post immunisation fever); and for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, sore throat, earache, teething pain and toothache, cold and flu symptoms, minor aches and sprains.
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use. Dose: For oral use. Shake well before each use. A spoon is provided to measure doses of 2.5ml or 5ml, as required. Children 8 to 12 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls to be given 3 to 4 times a day. Children 3 to 7 years: One 5ml spoonful to be given 3 to 4 times a day. Children 1 to 2 years: One 2.5ml spoonful to be given 3 to 4 times a day. Infants 6 months to 1 yean One 2.5ml spoonful
to be given 3 times a day.
Also includes Liquid Maltitol (E965), Sodium Methylparahydroxybenzoate (E219) And Sodium Propylparahydroxybenzoate (E217).
Each 5ml contains Ibuprofen 100mg as the active ingredient.
Do not give more often than every 4 hours. Do not give to children under 6 months. For post immunisation fever: One 2.5ml spoonful followed by one further 2.5ml spoonful 6 hours later. No more than 2 doses in 24 hours. If fever is not reduced, talk to your doctor. If your child's symptoms persist for more than 3 days, or if new symptoms occur, talk to your doctor. For short-term use only. Warning: Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not use if your child: has or has ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding of the stomach is allergic to ibuprofen or any of the ingredients or to aspirin, or to any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Is taking other NSAID painkillers. Adults taking this product should be aware of these factors and additionally not take the product if you: are taking other NSAID painkillers, or aspirin with a daily dose above 75mg are in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Talk to your doctor before using if they/you: have asthma, liver, kidney or heart problems have stomach or bowel disorders are in the first 6 months of pregnancy. Keep all medicines out of the reach & sight of children. Do not store above 25ºC. Store in the original container.
