Germoloids Ointment is a treatment for internal and external haemorrhoids (piles) and anal itching (pruritus ani). Haemorrhoids are swollen or enlarged blood vessels in or around the anus, which can cause discomfort, itching, and bleeding, especially after a bowel movement.

Germoloids Ointment contains two active ingredients:

• Zinc Oxide – Has astringent properties that help shrink swelling, soothe the affected area, and protect against further irritation. It also has antiseptic properties.
• Lidocaine Hydrochloride – A local anaesthetic that helps relieve pain, itching, and irritation.

How to Use Germoloids Ointment

Instructions for Use

Application for External Haemorrhoids

Application for Internal Haemorrhoids

• Attach the applicator nozzle to the tube.
• Apply a little ointment to the outside of the nozzle for easier insertion.
• Carefully insert the applicator into the anus and gently squeeze the tube while slowly withdrawing the nozzle.

Dosage

• Apply at least twice a day with at least 3 to 4 hours between applications.
• Additional applications are recommended after a bowel movement.
• Do not apply more than four times in 24 hours.

Use in Children

• Not recommended for children under 12 unless advised by a doctor.
